Special Payments

Special payments are payments other than regular bi-weekly pay due to an employee that cannot be paid through the normal payroll process (entered in CU Payroll Data Entry in Clemson University Business Systems).  These payments require justification as they are made outside the normal pay populated by entries in Job Data.

Types of special payments include other pay for internationals, pay due to an employee that does not have an automatically generated payline, dual employment, annual leave payouts and compensatory time.  Many types of pay can be entered directly into the on-line Special Pay in the Clemson University Business Systems.  Those not able to be entered on-line should be submitted by using the Hard Copy Special Pay Form.
